Being Human Sketch/Portfolio (featured artist Kathe Kollwitz )

I changed the background of my blog to one of my own sketches. The sketch is of Jesse Eisenberg. I am really liking it in the background of my blog so far. I also discovered how to add my new online portfolio to this blog. Exciting! Its taking forever to load my images to the online portfolio though. UGH! Not much of a blog today just wanted to share how excited I am about the changes.

Kathe Kollwitz - 

Kathe Kollwitz created beautiful art and many of her pieces depict poverty and war. Expresionism is one of my favorite styles and she is one of my favorite print makers that embodies this style. My printmaking teacher Matt Vincent was the first person to show me her work. I really appreciate artist who bare their soul in their pieces and Kathe Kollwitz is one of those artist.
